The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE Aberdeen Section) and Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG) are joint organisers of the first Scottish Energy Futures Conference which focuses on deploying the technologies necessary to make the energy transition happen. Recognising the urgency of the need to tackle climate change this conference looks at a range of decarbonisation projects that are happening now – and looks to the future to see what technologies might finally deliver the goal of net zero.
