Hydrogen Scotland member Hydrasun, a D2Zero company, has secured the hydrogen technology package for the Aberdeen Hydrogen Hub. Hydrasun will provide and integrate the hydrogen refuelling station and associated infrastructure to supply green hydrogen to local off-takers. This contract will create up to 40 green engineering and construction jobs.
Hydrasun is focused on supporting hydrogen infrastructure deployment as part of its Energy Transition strategy. The company is actively involved in the UK Hydrogen Production Business Model Funding and Hydrogen Allocation Rounds (HAR). With a strong focus on building hydrogen project delivery capability, Hydrasun is engaged with several of the selected HAR1 projects and is actively supporting HAR2 and HAR3 project developments.

This contract award by bp Aberdeen Hydrogen Energy Ltd, a joint venture between bp and Aberdeen City Council, supports the development of the scalable green hydrogen refuelling station facility with hydrogen production, storage, dispensing and distribution capabilities.
